Welcome to The Victoria Club Craig y Don. We're delighted that you've found us! Use this site to discover more about our association and members.
The Victoria or Vic Club as commonly known is a social club and we meet regularly in Llandudno to take part in activities and enjoy each other's company. We were founded recently to provide a place for young people to meet and relax. Our association is made up of people of all ages who enjoy making new friends and meeting old ones.
There are many facilities inside the club building available to our members, these include 2 rooms with 2 seperate Sky Sports on our 55inch screens, we are proud to boast these screens use only the official Sky Sports subscriptions & equipment and not a clone box of any description so you can be sure of top quality with no inturruptions

We have 2 full size snooker tables and a pool table, tea and coffee machines along with a fully stocked bar, run by our steward who used to work for Carlsberg so knows how to look after our beer including many guest ales we have on offer.
We also organise coach trips to the races in Bangor on Dee which is very popular as well as many draws & competitions.
The origins of the Club go back to the mid-1920s when some local businessmen mainly from the Craig y Don area formed a gentlemen's social club. The Club was based in Victoria Street (which gave the name). It became popular and there was a need to expand. A site was bought on vacant land adjoining Queen's Road, near the junction with Rosebery Avenue. Plans were drawn up and approved by the Council in June 1928. A company, registered as the “Victoria Club (Craig y Don) Ltd” was formed and capital raised by means of debentures taken out by the members. The company is one “limited by guarantee” - the members own the club and management is exercised by a board of directors elected by them. The club building which included a steward's accommodation was sympathetically designed to reflect the large houses then under construction in that part of Craig y Don, Llandudno.
